 I get the same level of excitement seeing this movie trailer as I do seeing each new installment of the game franchise. It looks like it has that look, that feel. Like it is a real Assassin's Creed story... a piece of the original. Not just some 3rd party Hollywood adaptation.
That's what matters most to me and from first impressions, this trailer... it looks like I won't be disappointed.

I hope they stick to the actual Assassins Creed storyline I don't want some BS story I've been waiting for this movie to come out for almost 3 years now so the director better not botch this film or I'll be so disappointed not mad not angry straight up parents style "Disappointed" lmao and for once it was a trailer that didn't give away all the high points of the movie.

Matt Safran The music took away from the feel of the trailer and the assassin's Creed feel. Whoever chose this style of music for the background of the trailer is just...well to put it bluntly...stupid. simple marketing is to know your audience and who you're trying to sell to. Now I'm not saying that there aren't rap fans out there who love the series but even they would have to admit it doesn't fit at all. We, as fans, are excited for the movie and want to be immersed into it just as much as we were in the games. I wouldn't have loved the games nearly as much if I was jumping rooftop to rooftop with rap in the background. The music of the games help with the immersion and it was beautiful music also. Hopefully their marketing team and producers are actually reading the fans dislike of it and making changes. Otherwise they're just going to lose money...unless Kanye pays more than what the fans would...which is a possibily.

Bryan Indiveri If this takes place at the beginning of the Spanish Inquisition in 1478, then Aguilar co-exists with Ezio. Ezio would be saving Lorenzo d'medici from being assassinated during this year. Maybe they will make a reference of that in the movie.

Wight Royce Goforth I hope they don't 100% follow the source material. The game's story is an absolute mess. AC I - III starts off clear and concise. Playing as Altaïr / Ezio was really fun and the story had an exciting "Da Vinci Code" feel to it that leads you on a global excursion for significant historical artifacts while fighting Templars in both the past and present. It was fun and the story was easy to follow and enjoy, but for some strange reason the writers decided to fix something that wasn't broke and kill the main character. The only character anyone cares about in the entire series. Anyone whose played all the games knows that the AC storyline is about as well put together as the fun, but confusing Metal Gear Solid franchise.

Kristoffer Erick Romano I have a feeling that another assassin will make a cameo in the movie. One of AC games featured this assassin crossing over to Spain during the same era, probably earlier than this movie's timeline.

Petra Coman Poor song choice for the trailer. (Kanye, really!?!?) I've expected more. The trailer is awesome though. When muted. smile emoticon I have great hopes for this movie. The Spanish Inquisition is one of the most intriguing events in the history. Cannot wait to watch it. I don't expect Jesper Kyd or Lorne Balfe to come back for the movie, but I do believe they've hired a skilled composer that will stick to the orchestral songs.

Juliët Boortman It looks amazing! Just the song choice is a no for me. All the AC trailers are having such wonderful soundtracks and now they come up with this. I hope in the movie they'll use the "real" AC sound that we are used to due to the amazing games.

Marshall Daum It doesn't look like it will be a dud. I thought the Leap of faith was spectacular at the end there. I hope more than anything else they fix the soundtrack and make it orchestral or that will drastically change my perception of the film in a very negative sense.

Tyler Worsham I so cannot wait for this. I always said this series would be perfect mining ground for film. The games are already so cinematic as it is. I'm especially glad they are telling an original story in the context and setting of the game series rather than adapting the games. The concept and lore is too broad, wide reaching and rich for it to waste such an opportunity. Besides, this series is one that could benefit most from a film adaption tjat merely adapts the world and setting of the games rather than the specific stories from the games themselves anyway.

Max Junior Hernandez I thought the song went perfect with the trailer, I am a God by Kanye such an awesome song. Plus if you ever actually played one of these games with all the sneakiness and silent killings and the pieces of Eden, it makes you just feel like a god, a god of death.

Brandon Harris I don't mind Kanye, but they should have stuck with Woodkid like some of the game trailers (Revelations, 3, Black Flag, Unity)
